It consists of 10 A4 pages of news, information, features and shorter articles. The magazine is sent each month to FPS members.
The FPS Calendar for the month shows on one full page all the entries of happenings, day by day for the month. Further details of events can be found in descriptions of various lengths on the FPS Events page, the Young FPS section and elsewhere in the magazine.
Every issue contains pieces from the Rabbi and the Chair of FPS.
Features include contributions from members on cultural social and other events in which they have participated. These are sometimes ones which have taken place at the synagogue but also include presentations following events elsewhere, such as trips to places of interest in Israel and elsewhere.
Shofar is produced each month by a group of volunteers from FPS members and it is very important in helping all members to know what is and will be going on in the synagogue.
For those members who use email, Rabbi Neil Janes circulates a weekly email in which he provides his own additional news and descriptions of pending events and activities at FP
